CrossFit HPU

CrossFit was designed for everyone and anyone, a common misconception we hear is that you have to be fit to start CrossFit. This couldn’t be further from the truth; the process of learning CrossFit is graduated and it begins with an induction into the fundamental movements, progresses to scaled versions of the community work outs and finally once you’re ready, you move up to full RX (prescribed) work outs.

The official explanation of CrossFit is “constantly varied high intensity exercise performed across multiple time and modal domains”, to put this simply this means, your works outs are always changing but more importantly your work outs in any given week will cover off the ten measurable fitness domains which are cardiovascular/respiratory endurance, stamina, strength, power, speed, flexibility, co-ordination, agility, balance and accuracy.  It’s this formula that stands CrossFit apart for all other training systems.  It’s taken the best of everything and incorporated it into one!

At the core of CrossFit is the community ideology; the coming together of like minded people in a tailored environment using the same system that encourages us to constantly improve ourselves physically.  This provides the perfect platform for everyone to share in victories and failures, and encourage one another to keep pushing for that next rep, better time or heavier lift. The CrossFitter will learn to never give up!
